Campsite in North Jutland

Tranum Klit Camping is a campsite in North Jutland in harmony with nature. At Tranum Klit Camping you get really close to nature. On Pladsen's good 13 hectares, there are 230 large natural plots, each individual square is surrounded by trees, which provides shelter and the opportunity for privacy. You get the feeling of sitting in the middle of the forest and at the same time hear the roar of the North Sea, only interrupted by the cuckoo's cuckoo or buzzard's cry from above. Here you can let the calm take over and relax after a few hard days at work, or a nice bike ride in the surrounding Tranum Klitplantage. There is a path from the square down to the North Sea, so it is no problem to take a morning dip. If you dream of camping, sit in the shelter and hear the birds singing from above. But at the same time would like to have facilities such as electricity, toilet, shower and kitchen within easy reach. Then Tranum Klit Camping is the place for you!

Facilities

At the campsite, we have a wide range of facilities that campers are free to use. Be it playgrounds, showers and toilets, kitchens, barbecues, mini golf, wi-fi, dog park and much more.

Pitches with electricity

The majority of our pitches for caravans are equipped with CEE plugs. Each space has 10Amp.

They are almost all surrounded by trees, which provides plenty of opportunity for privacy and coziness in the presence of the family. If you are in doubt about which place will suit you best, you are always welcome to call or write and we can find a place according to your needs.

Good service facilities

There are two service buildings on the site, with a total of 21 toilets. In addition, there are 14 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 1 laundry room. Our service facilities are newly renovated and super nice. They are also thoroughly cleaned daily and are always comfortable to use.

Two playgrounds

We have a playground near the reception, which can be seen in the picture on the left. There is also an inflatable bouncy pad here, which is lit every day from 8am to 20pm. At the same time, we also have a nature playground, further inside the site with a cable car and other fun challenges.

What you are missing

The store has a wide selection of what you are looking for. Every morning we sell freshly baked bread, from which you can also order cakes and other bread. The cooler is always full of milk, butter and cheese, cold beers and sodas are just a few of the things the store contains. In the summer season you can also buy big old-fashioned ice cream cones and soft ice cream. We also make good pizzas to order.

In addition, we have a small selection of camping equipment. Ask us if there is anything you are missing. We often find a solution.

a little about the area

Around the campsite you will find some of the most beautiful nature. Tranum Klitplantage covers a forest area of 1712 ha. In addition, there are heath areas, lakes and meadows. A total of 2700 Ha, which in the near future will be called Nature National Park Tranum. A nature park where biodiversity takes center stage. Here there is ample opportunity to get up close to nature and its rich wildlife. You can hardly drive or take a walk without encountering a fox, fallow deer, roe deer, fallow deer, cranes, squirrels, and we could go on. Maps of the area are available at reception. Where we are also helpful in identifying various particularly beautiful places. So remember to tell us what you are looking for.

From the end of the square there is a path to Ejstrup beach. The beach is an excellent bathing beach. The water here is usually always a degree warmer than at the neighboring beaches, because it flattens out more, so the water is lower further towards the beach. Due to the few rocks and the shallower water, the beach here is more child-friendly.

The varied nature of the area makes it a favorite place for birds. Inside the campsite, there are many trees and hiding places for the small birds. The large areas around the square with heath attract many birds of prey, cranes, geese etc. Up in the plantation, woodpeckers, cuckoos and pheasants are often seen. If you move further down towards the beach and in the dunes, there are many waders. If you enjoy the sight of a large bird of prey, the sound of birdsong every morning, the pecking of the woodpecker and the cuckoo of the cuckoo, Tranum Klit Camping is definitely worth a visit.
